Hi, I’m Carmen Surun, founder of Esperanza+Fertility—a women-owned organization dedicated to supporting women and families through their fertility journey. With a heart for service and a deep connection to the Latino community, I’m here to guide you with compassion, clarity, and care every step of the way.
My Story
Esperanza+Fertility is a proud woman-led organization born from a deeply personal journey through infertility. After years of navigating the emotional and physical challenges of multiple IUI and IVF attempts, I was blessed to become pregnant. That life-changing experience inspired me to create a space for others who are walking a similar path—especially within the Latino community.
At Esperanza+Fertility, we understand how overwhelming the fertility process can be—especially for those facing language barriers, limited resources, or simply not knowing where to turn. That’s why we are here. Our mission is to provide compassionate guidance, translation, logistical assistance, and emotional support to individuals and families pursuing fertility treatments.
We are more than a service—we are a source of hope (“esperanza”) and empowerment. Whether you need help navigating appointments, understanding medical terms, or simply someone who’s been there to walk beside you, Esperanza+Fertility is here to support you every step of the way.
